The Afghanistan Youth National and Social Organization (AYNSO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established by young adults and registered on 10 March, 2008 in Afghanistan. AYNSO strives to create a youth democratic society where all young people particularly disadvantaged and atrisk are valued without any discrimination as the most promising resource available to meet personal and societal needs. Founded in 2008, AYNSO is a legally registered with Ministry of Economy as non-profit organization operating in 34 provinces and Kuchi Tribes of Afghanistan. AYNSO is dedicated to address the social, civil and democratic needs, issues, and problems of youth and women, and shape their social & economic development through advocacy, rights awareness, networking and capacity building programs throughout Afghanistan. AYNSO is a grass root level organization emerged with the aim to advocate youth, marginalized, poor and disadvantage communities on their rights to education, democracy and equal opportunity for social services.
Our Approach
Organizational Goal
LAYNSO is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, social and cultural organization dedicated to helping young Afghans understand and advance democracy. With a grassroots network reaching all 34 provinces of Afghanistan, AYNSO empowers young men and women to make their voices heard to reform and enrich the democratic, economic and social fabric of their country.
Program Objectives
o To practice real democracy through stakeholders advocacy in access to justice, human rights and improved citizenship
o To structure social network notionally working with religious leaders, community elders, youth and women for empowering citizenship and greater social accountability
o To enhance youth, women and victim of violence groups access to formal and informal justice mechanisms
o To protect human and women rights through advocacy initiatives, consultation and policy reforms and dialogues
o To protect well-beings of children and initiate steps for child protection, education, development, good governance through implementation of Convention on the Rights of Children
o To provide referral support and friendly spaces for the child protection cases, and jointly work for eliminating child labour, early marriages and support children voices for change at community level
o To address youth, women and children needs and problems through social networking, to extend grounds for community based solutions to problems and issues
o To strengthen coordination with all programs related stakeholders inclusive with community, government national and internationally
o To provide livelihoods development opportunities for youth, women and poor communities to make sustainable their livelihoodses
